Authors must ensure their submissions comply with the following items as part of the submission process. Submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines may be returned to authors.
Guidelines
Submissions may include scholarly articles, works of creative writing, and other visual or creative art forms that explore the complexities of politicized media culture.
Submitting to this journal opens the door to potential promotion on Stachka!’s social media and offers a great opportunity to gain recognition for your work. If you do not wish to have your work included, please provide an email notice to the editorial team at editor@stachka-journal.com.
The submission has not been previously published, nor has it been before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided to the editors).
The manuscript and bibliography are formatted according to the Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition. Art submissions should adhere to CMS unless otherwise specified to the editors after submission.
If we feel that you would be a good fit for publication, we will ask for a manuscript, preferably either in a Word or PDF document, which allows for potential editing and layout changes in advance of publication.
